Question by : Would it be a compelling matchup to see Boise State play against an LSU or Bama in the National Title?
I think for this to happen Boise would have to wrong the table and hope that Oklahoma can drop 2 games to play against LSU or Bama.
The SEC has did the best of any major conference in National Titles and January BCS Bowls and it would be interesting if a small school like Boise State could play against an SEC powerhouse.

They take entirely too much time off between the last game and the BC$ games to keep it exciting. Without a playoff its a joke and empty title anyway

Yeah, it’s all based way to much on stats, you take a decent, but not great team. Put them in a conference like the mountain west and they dominate, before you know it they are on the running for National Championship because they blow out a bunch of nobody teams. It’s just screwed up without a play off system, the whole BCS thing is just a joke. And the funny thing is they could have a play off system and then have bowl games too and they would make twice as much money because you know that’s what it’s all about. The only thing that comes out of this that is good is you have teams like Boise State that will get good coaches and good recruits because they get all this credit for rolling over nobody teams. But I wouldn’t really want to see Boise State go to the National Championship but I would like to see them go to a slightly smaller bowl game against an SEC power house to show people that maybe they are a little over rated. But hey maybe they will surprise me, that’s just my opinion on it.
Would love to see Bama or LSU vs. Boise State for the National title (preferably Bama, of course). Maybe then some of the Boise fans & bandwagoners will sit back and keep quiet for a change after they get a good spanking ….
