Question by : Would Bama-Boise be a good Sugar bowl matchup if Bama is not selected to play LSU?
Alot of people have criticized Boise’s Bowl win over Oklahoma because they have said Oklahoma chokes and they have criticized their win against TCU because TCU is considered a smaller school. However, it would be hard for anyone to disrespect Boise if they were able to beat an elite SEC defense.

I’d rather see Alabama play Stanford in the Sugar Bowl. They have nothig to gain by beating Boise State.
There are two things to consider: 1. College bowls (especially the big ones) are crazy due to the near month or more teams get off. 2. If a Bama gets matched up against Boise as opposed to playing in the title game, they feel robbed and aren’t very motivated.
With that in mind, I’d still expect Bama to win by 20 or 30 easily. They should knock Boise around like rag dolls!

I think the only team that could give Alabama a run for their money outside of LSU is Michigan St. Standford is overrated. Boise St. is not as good as they have been. Michigan St. is a tough football team and they deserve a BCS bid. I’d rather see Wisconsin-Alabama but Wisconsin is going to the Rose Bowl to face Oregon. I think Wisconsin will win in a high scoring game. But Alabama-Michigan St is what I am pulling for. If they don’t get LSU
