Question by Needs help! music lover: Where do i find good fondant that wont taste like crap in boise idaho?
my friends 18th birthday is coming up and im in charge of making her a cake for her birthday. i want to make it out of fondant and i want it cheap and it to taste good.

Woohoo Boise! I am not sure about where to find fondant, but a friend of mine makes her own because she also thought store bought tasted like crap. She looked up a video on youtube and she said it was super easy. Good luck!

I have never had ‘tasty fondant’, it isn’t used because it tastes good – Its used because it makes your cake pretty.
Buttercream is very tasty, and with a little effort you can make it somewhat ‘matte’ like in finish like fondant…
(1) Buy SatinIce brand fondant on line…tastes good, but not cheap.
(2) Make your own MMF (marshmallow fondant), tastes good, cheap, works just like regular commercial fondant.
