Question by Jeff H: Should the Pac-10 add 2 more teams so the conf. could have a championship game and start earning more respect?
If so, which 2 teams should the conference add?
Several suitable teams are Fresno State, Boise State, or Hawaii(even after the Georgia blowout, they’ll be around).
I believe the Pac-10 is easily the 2nd toughest conference in all the land.
Here’s my current ranking of conference strength:
1) SEC
2) Pac-10
3) Big-12
4) Big- East (only 8 teams, but 7 of them are quality)
5) ACC
6) Big- 10 (consistent Rose Bowl beat downs and National Championship blowout losses. After the top couple teams, the rest of the conference just isn’t good and very overrated)
7) WAC 
Mountain West
9) C-USA
10) MAC
11) Sun Belt
12) Big Sky
13) Notre Dame
I know about the Big Sky (D.II) but I just had to take a shot a Notre Dame and list those teams ahead of Golden Domers.

Add Notre Dame. They get USC, UCLA and Stanford anyway

They just need traditional powers to step up. Both washington and UCLA have been down for a long time. Would you be suprised to know that the big ten has a winning record against the SEC since the BCS started? And that is including the big tens best team, OSU, going 0-4.
That would be ridiculous for a team from Indiana to join the Pacific-10.
I’ve aways said Boise State should join, both for Football and Basketball (look up Reggie Larry), Hawaii would make sense.
I think we should drop Washington and either Washington State or Arizona. Stanford sucks but they have that rivalry with Cal so if they go Cal would have to go.
well u have all the west cost writers on ur side so maybe do like usc is doing and start playing tough non conference games
If they were picking up two teams Boise State, Fresno State, Utah, or even BYU would all be good additions. The thing with the PAC TEN is there is no team that can recruit with USC. Without USC the PAC TEN would not be very good. USC owns the PAC TEN. That’s why they are so overrated, because winning there conference is a given. So on a bad year they go to the Rose Bowl. I would love to see some of the other programs step it up and give them some “CONSISTENT” competition, but i don’t see it happening.
No the pac 10 has enough hasbeens and wannabes, tney enjoy not playing another game, while most of the time the team they are about to play in a bowl game is getting beat up. pac 10 needs to get more phyiscal
It’s not a bad idea, but they do deserve more respect. I too am very tired of the Big-10. Thats really where they should be on the list. I think even some WAC teams could beat up on most of the Big-10.
