Because green is the natural color of grass. Teams with painted feilds are the cancer that is killing College Football.

I don’t know. I think it’s just BS made up by the NCAA who think it’s a good idea to run the BCS system.
The blue field is a gimmick. And teams wear “white” jerseys at home.
Grass is green… You cant force them to not wear jerseys that are the natural color of grass… Boise States turf just looks retarded anyway.
And teams usually wear dark jerseys at home… Not white jerseys.
