Question by 888888888888: Is College Football Rigged?
Here are some of the highlights:
USC is currently ranked 5 spots above Oregon, and USC lost to an unranked team, who Oregon smashed this weekend. Also, USC hasn’t really beat anyone of note, as i’m sure most would agree Ohio state is overrated. And Oregon’s only loss is to Boise…
The repeatedly bad calls from the SEC all seem to revolve around Changing the momentum of Florida’s football games. Miss. State may have won if that call wasn’t blown. I’m sure of the same thing with Arkansas. and anyone who saw the LSU game knows what that wide receiver did to get open for the one long TD pass from tebow.
It is impossible for Boise State to play for the BCS title game. Even with a preseason ranking in the top 10, they can smash everyone on their schedule and still be left out. It will happen again this year, and so goes the tragedy.
Also, lookup the history of Utah, and the struggles they went through with Urban Meyer before he sold out and went to Florida.
Who agrees?

I’m glad I’m not the only one who saw that on the touchdown pass for UF.
But no it’s not rigged. Just few bad calls and unfair ranking system.

I think it is all about who people like. I cannot stand seeing USC always getting a second chance every single season. Why they are still in the top 5 baffles me. You cannot lose to an unranked team and still be ranked in the top 5. It is all rigged and the stupid poll are retarted.
“Who agrees?”
No one with any intelligence.
Sarge
yes
If your trying to say that Boise St. Deserves a shot, your insane. In many ways, I hope somehow they do get into the title game, so when they get crushed, maybe they will finally realize that they need a tougher schedule or then maybe the pollsters will finally stop “giving” then a good ranking. They BARELY beat Tulsa, who Oklahoma, without Bradford, crushed. They played their best game and still barely got lucky against Oregon. I do think that Oregon will beat USC, so that will clear that part up. And Ohio State overrated? Their 17th dude. They will probably end up arond 10th by the end of the season if they win out. They are not overrated, just young with an up and down offense. Next year OSU will be very dangerous, returning 19 of 22 starters. Them, LSU, and USC will be very very touch. Maybe even Miami and Cincinatti.
They have an agenda for who they want to be there in the end for sure. What other reason could there be for preseason rankings? Rating teams 2 weeks before they play one game.
In 2007 Boston College was ranked #2 at one point, do you really think if they won out and won the ACC they would have gotten a title shot? The BC$ would simply say “well thats what the computer says” because computers make wonderfull scapegoats.
Well, LSU did miss two field goals in that UF game so the TD wouldn’t
have mattered it would have ended up being 6-3. (Iam a LSU fan) but the ref’s have been blowing calls left and right for UF also LSU beat Washington who beat USC.
Boise had only beaten Oregon, and the rest of their schedule is in the last 60 of the 120 teams. Maybe it’s time for them to move to the MWC in football.
And also UF has WAY better talent than Utah and Urban Meyer did not “SELL OUT”
Yes it is. There’s too much attention being paid to USC who win games without the help of a couple of calls like Florida. I am still amazed to see them at number 1 the way they have played. Sometimes you just need to have an ace in the hole to win games you know your gonna lose. We need a new ranking system based on who the best team is, not who has the best record because they play FCS schools.
well the refs in the sec have clearly been told to do whatever they can to protect florida, bama, and lsu
I don’t think it is rigged, although officials can sure make it look that way. I do think home field calls are way out of hand. As far as the BCS? It sucks, nothing fair about it and will not be until we get a playoff system, and even then, the smaller conferences will have teams get screwed.
Yes. The cat is now out of the bag and they will have to start playing college games for real now. Good job on the detective work. I noticed something seemed fishy.
