Question by Mrs. O’Shea: I’m getting married in Boise, Idaho in October, any help?
I need to find it all, reception, we want to get married in Church. All we have is the minister, rings, and dress. And just to make things a little more challenging I live in California, and I’m trying to plan this from out of state. If you know of any nice places for the reception or church, I would love to hear about it. Any advice will be greatly appriciated. Thank you all God Bless you.

I am not familiar with Boise but have you looked at The Knot? They have local guide that is very helpful. It has websites and pictures of vendors and sites. I am on there all the time! =)

The Boise Depot is a great spot for either a wedding or reception. It was once an actual train depot, but there is no train service there now. There is a beautiful garden there too. October in Boise can still be nice, early in the month, but can be a little chilly towards the end of the month. I’m not sure whether a church would allow you to bring in your own minister, but there are several old churches downtown. St. Michael’s Episcopal, First Presbyterian, The Cathedral of the Rockies, etc. The Grove Hotel has some nice ball rooms, and could do the catering as well. I have also seen a portion of the Boise Art Museum rented out for a wedding. It is inside Julia Davis Park, right next to a nice rose garden (don’t know what would be blooming in October, but might be possible). Good luck!
