How do clowns like Lagarrett Blount get to play in the NFL?

Question by Brendan: How do clowns like Lagarrett Blount get to play in the NFL?
He punched out the young kid on Boise when he was looking the other way(real tough). In Titans training camp he also punched another player who was on his own team!! Yet he still makes the Bucs roster, amazing. In real life it doesn’t matter how good or how much talent you have, if you do that kind of stuff, your out of a job and in jail(I’ve learned this since i was 16, I used to be in fights everyday, but you have to grow up and not act like a mental patient). If some doctor was great and the best at what he did, but when around punching out coworkers or patients, you thunk hed have a job still?! Nah, yet they pay low life thugs like blount millions for a kids game that is supposed to be about DISICPLINE. Not much in the NFL lately, he’s lucky he’s in football, if he wasn’t he’d be locked up..
I was a varsity linebacker for my high school, which produced kids who are now starters k. notre dame, rutgers, Boston college, etc. All of my coaches preached discipline, I can tell you this all the way from pee wee to college, coaches care about character, and then talent. If i punched out some kid from a rival team like that, I would’ve been kicked off and never invited back. Regardless of talent.

Money. If teams can make money off of these clowns, they will.

Same reason why the Eagles brought Michael Vick in straight from prison. It’s about money, not about morality. It aint right, but it’s the way it is unfortunately.

  1. For the overwhelming majority of amatuer football players, the game is about discipline and sacrifice for the greater good of the team.

For the elite athlete who makes it to the professional level, it doesn’t matter what you have done or possibly will do, if you can realistically win one more game for an NFL coach than the next guy, you have a job.

  2. because they are bigger faster and stronger than most people

  3. sadly, it’s all about the football talent. @sshole or not, he helps his team win games, and that’s why he is there
