Question by : Do you think that Boise State would be able to get up the number 4 ranking if OK State and V.Tech lose?
As a non AQ and non conference winner, Boise has to at least get the number 4 rank to at least play in a BCS Bowl. I expect after the Arkansas lost they will be 6th.

Ever heard of an at-large bid? They can still get one. Also, the rule is that the Rose Bowl must invite a non-AQ school at least once every four years (TCU got it last year so they don’t have to invite Boise) if they are in the top 4, and the Rose Bowl’s conference (Pac 12, Big 10) are in the National Championship Game (not going to happen). So making the top 4 will only help them get an at-large bid. I do think if Oklahoma State loses in Bedlam, and Va Tech loses to Clemson, then they would be top 4.

I love Boise State and I’m going to college there next fall.
It’s taken over a full season for them to return to where they were after the Nevada loss a couple seasons ago.. and they recently loss to TCU. Because Boise is in a weak conference, they probably won’t be able to go to the championship unless they go undefeated for almost 2 seasons. It’s sad because now that they lost to TCU, they won’t be even thought about for the championship for atleast another full season. Because they are in a weak conference. If OK State and or V Tech loses, they will probably only move up one spot to 6th, if that. They might still be able to get into a BCS bowl though if one of those teams lose. If not, they might be looking at the Capital One bowl, or one of the less rewarding bowls money wise.
