Question by Jennifer A: adopting from a reservation?
My husband is a Blackfeet decedent of the Blackfeet tribe in Montana. He was raised on the reservation till about three years ago we are wandering how or if we can adopt children from there with the Indian child welfare act and all? We now live in Boise Idaho and his family still lives there.. There is a place called the nurturing center where children with no home go to and we would like to adopt. Any advice would be appreciated

go for it! whats stopping you?! adopting homeless children is something you should feel proud of without any hesitiation. just find out the legal strategy for adopting them than go for it!!

Visit the facility and let the staff there get to know you. It would get your foot in the door and might better your chances to adopt.
