I think that would be a great idea because it would let other teams have a shot a the national title like Boise State its was because they were in the WAC was a big reason why they did not get a chance

  1. NICE!! WE NEED YOU AT ESPN

  2. Too diluted, uneven numbers within “conferences” and who is to say who gets in, stays out, or gets the byes? Plus you have an inequality in competition built in in every division.

Divert this into 4 16 team divisions with the top 4 qualifying and 4 14 team divisions with the top 3 qualifying. 32 teams in would only take 5 weeks to play the entire tournament.

and you forgot Texas Tech and Florida International at first galnce.

  3. GEORGIA On My MIND

the logistics of trying to put something like that together are almost impossible …

That’s like trying to get the Republic to agree on how to deal with the Separatists in Star Wars : The Phantom Menace …

david w : I agree with you but he didn’t forget those two you mentioned.

In the Florida region it’s the first one listed F I U (Florida International) and in the Texas region Texas Tech is the last one just before UTEP.

  4. In addition to the other criticisms, how do you deal with rivalries? Is it better to put rivals in the same conference, ensuring they play every year, or in separate ones. allowing for the possibility of rivals meeting in key elimination games?

It is very hard to justify not having WVU and Pitt in the same conference…

  5. Mr. steal your girl!

too many games for amateur athletes

  6. Not much. Waste of time & space on the computer. RT
