first kick that would have won the game. a few things to consider. 1.) Why did the booth review the previous play, icing the kicker? The ball was clearly caught. 2.) The kick looked good from this angle. 3.) Why weren’t we shown another angle? Football games aren’t recorded with only one camera. and 4.) Here’s the deal, Brotzman missed two field goals that he should have hit. He is the highest scoring kicker in NCAA history, he should have hit them easy. He should have never been in that position in the first place. Brotzman didn’t loose the game for Boise State, Boise State lost it as a team. Granted he could have changed the outcome it is not his fault. There were a lot of messed up crap in that game that could have changed things, but you can’t pin the whole game on the kicker.
@ross121670 standard field goal post r much bigger. they may not be required, but colleges that have the money buy them. ala Boise Stae, Florida, Ohio State, Alabama and any other top ranking college. Nevada does not because (I assume) 1 they are cheap, or 2 their football program isnt that big
@DoTheDanwah If you listen to the facts, Nevada has the standard size required NCAA posts. What they are talking about in NFL size post that “SOME” schools have. Also, if you know anything about how the refs line up on a field goal they get it right 99.99999999999999999% of the time. This was said by a few of them all over the country including one that had a son who played for BSU. Listen to more then 18 seconds and you will hear them talk about NFL size posts.

@musicfan088 how the heck are they overrated they’re kicker choked at the end of the game…it happens i might have cost em a rose bowl but it happened get the fuck over it. boise state is the best team in the country, they got the best qb and a great defense so you’ll see next year they’ll be fucking up everybody. theyll fuck up georgia, tcu, nevada, tulsa, air force, san diego state. those are 4 potential top 25 teams, one top 5 team and one top 10 team.

With Boise State losing to Nevada and Hawaii beating Nevada and Boise State beating Hawaii. That loss makes Boise State look bad cuz hawaii beat nevada. so with nevada beating boise that makes boise look like crap. BOISE WILL NEVER WIN A NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP.
